Summer has finally arrived...isn't it AUGUST?!

It is days like today and yesterday that make me thrilled to call the Pacific Northwest my home. In my opinion, the perfect day is 75-80 with a slight breeze and that's what we have, right now! We are blessed to live in a beautiful part of the world. It has been a summer that was slow to arrive, and we have waited, somewhat patiently, for these beautiful days of summer. I hope you are filling each day with an extra dose of Vitamin D and time spent with family and friends.

We just enjoyed our second family camp of the summer. Many of you were a part of a relaxing and fun time at Rasar State Park in Concrete. The rain held off until the last hours of camp, there was sun peaking through the whole time, we ate waffles together and watched movies, we kayaked and jumped on our new floating island at Baker Lake, we played games, cooked and enjoyed each other's company. Thank you, Don Matson, for your work in pulling together those details! It was a hugely successful camp and you were integral in making it happen!

If you weren't at camp, or even if you were, we still have room available at our August camp in Entiat, WA. We have moved the camp off of it's traditional Labor Day weekend and we will be headed over on August 19th-August 22nd. We hope this move will make the timing better for families that are jumping back into school on the heals of Labor Day! We're headed to Slide Waters, in Chelan, on Saturday and we will spend Sunday at Lake Entiat! On Sunday we will be baptizing, those interested, in the Lake. It will be a great time of celebration and we hope you will be there to be a part! If you are interested in being baptized that day, please let us know as soon as possible.
