Impacting our community one step at a time...

The sun is out (sometimes) and Connect Groups are up and running and boy am I excited to see what is going to happen as people plug into relationship with others in their church community. I hope you have taken the time to research your Connect Group options and take advantage of a place to get involved.

Our Connect Groups are planned and managed by people, just like you, who give of their time and energy to do ministry and bring our community closer. We are connecting people through common interests, passions, books and service opportunities and it is exciting to see God at work through these leaders. Support them with your attendance and interest, you won't regret it.

On June 23rd there is a group of men that will be gathering to BBQ steak. It will be hosted by Tom Radcliffe and held at Silver Creek. There will also be a guest speaker with a background in local law enforcement and he will be talking about the struggles our law enforcement is facing in our community each and every day. It will be great time to connect with other men and enjoy a steak barbecued just the way you like it. Don't miss out on this opportunity! Registration is still open, on line at the following link.

We are also looking forward to our Hands and Feet Connect Group kickoff on June 18th at 9am until 2pm. Their first project will be to work on the landscaping around our Intern House. Our interns work hard for our church and they are making huge impact on many lives at Silver Creek. This Connect Group's desire to bless our interns with their support and hard work is awesome and we are very grateful to Charlie Demming for leading the charge.
